Top Agent Portfolio has gained some notoriety in 2022. With that attention, there’s been some brand confusion.
In order to focus our energy on our member growth, we have decided to change our name from Top Agent Portfolio to Top Trending Agent (TTA). (We think it’s a much more fitting name for our members.)
What does “trending” mean?
Merriam Webster’s definition of trending is “to generate or attract a lot of interest or attention especially online and in social media.”
Our “Trending” vision is to help our agents generate and stay relevant across channels. We believe the days of agents resting on their laurels vs continuous pursuit of excellence are waning.
TTA members are not just top agents, they are the top agents NOW and that is an important distinction. Our mission has always been to only feature Top Trending Agents.
Our invitation-only portfolio of agents is unique. Agents can’t simply buy their way in. They earn the right to be members year after year, and they never pay us a referral fee if agents, buyers, or sellers find them on our website.
Top Trending Agent (TTA) member minimum requirements will remain the same; 50 sides or $20M in sales volume. Our goal is to build and promote a portfolio of the top 2% of agents in North America.
When reviewing agents for membership, we also consider community contribution, professionalism, and customer-focused service as apparent in testimonials, online media, and so on. In other words, our agents are featured because they earned their place at the top.
I believe our new brand name is an indicator of the future of real estate marketing.
