Meet Tripp
Tripp Butler, a native of Rome, Georgia, spent his formative years outside of Atlanta. Upon graduating from The University of Alabama, he embarked on a successful career in commercial real estate in Atlanta before relocating to Charleston, South Carolina in the early 90s. Tripp initially served as a sales executive at Wild Dunes Real Estate, gradually ascending to the roles of broker, partner, and ultimately CEO. In this capacity, he oversaw P&L performance, goal setting, and overall operations, and managed a dedicated team of 20.
During his tenure, Tripp played a pivotal role in real estate development projects in collaboration with Wild Dunes Development Company, significantly contributing to the revitalization of the residential development firm. In 2005, this thriving enterprise was acquired by Lowe Enterprises, the country’s 5th largest independent management company, having witnessed a substantial increase in annual sales exceeding $70 million.
From 2006 to 2007, Tripp assumed the role of Vice President at Genesis Designer Homes, recommended for the position by mutual CPAs. In this capacity, he led the sales team and support staff, achieving 100% of the aggressive 2006 revenue goal amidst a challenging market.
In 2008, Tripp acquired Southbridge Realty, rebranding it as Southbridge Greater Savannah Realty to better reflect the company’s expanded coverage from Tybee Island to Hinesville. The company has since become one of the top boutique real estate firms in the Savannah, Georgia area. Over 20% of their business stems from relocation work with major national companies, drawn by the team’s passion, integrity, work ethic, and market knowledge.
